The money-laundering guidance assistant that always shows its sources

Ask a question in plain English. Vigill finds the answer in the JMLSG guidance, points to the exact page, and has it double-checked before you see it.

Ask the JMLSG guidance

Answers are grounded in retrieved passages, cited by page and paragraph, and checked by a guardrail agent before you see them.

Demo build: answers and citations are illustrative placeholders, not JMLSG text. This tool summarises guidance and is not legal advice.

    How to use the agent

Five habits that get you the best answers.

    1

    Ask a complete question

There is no conversation memory yet, so every question must stand alone. Name the topic, the situation and what you need to decide.

    2

    Watch the pipeline

The agent retrieves the top 12 passages, parallel subagents read them, a draft is written, then the guardrail checks it.

    3

    Read the status

Approved means the draft passed all four checks. A caveat badge means it did not, so read the listed concerns.

    4

    Check the citations

Every statement carries a page and paragraph reference. Open the source and confirm anything you will act on.

    5

    Keep the limits in mind

It summarises guidance and is not legal advice. Questions outside JMLSG return a clear “not covered” message.

    What the statuses mean

    StatusMeaningWhat to do
approvedPassed relevance, accuracy, completeness and groundednessUse, after checking citations
max_revisions_reachedNever passed; delivered with unresolved concernsTreat with caution, rephrase
no_relevant_contentRetrieved passages do not address the questionRephrase, or topic is out of scope
no_resultsRetrieval returned nothing, usually a setup faultReport it to the admin

    Good questions and poor ones

Good: “What does the guidance say about enhanced due diligence for politically exposed persons?”

Too thin: “And what about their relatives?” (it cannot see your last question)

Out of scope: anything unrelated to anti-money-laundering guidance.
